On 18 February I was a guest at the festive renewal of the SER Works Council. I was allowed to provide a visual framework for the session. This afternoon was led by Ruben Houweling, there was an introduction by SER chairman Kim Putters and a sharp analysis by Johan Zwemmer. Both a works council and a director can consult the works council. The works council also provides information and answers specific questions about participation and the Works Councils Act. But it is more than a dispute between parties, let alone a competition. On 18 February it was noted that from now on there will be one works council; previously there were two committees. It was nice to speak in an animated manner about the usefulness and necessity of the renewed works council.

This spring we were struck by the unexpected passing of Ellen Wind, owner of galerieWind. This has affected many people, Ellen was unique in her contribution to exhibiting the work of various artists in Rotterdam. For many years, De Koning Organisatie Ontwikkeling & Creativiteit B.V. has been operating from the famous gallery on the Noordereiland. It therefore goes without saying that we contribute to the new future of the gallery. Beautiful exhibitions but also space for rental. After all, Galerie Wind is and remains a household name in Rotterdam for anyone with a feeling for art it is a wonderful location to hold your meeting. You can have a meeting while being surrounded by Art.
